Fillenwarth Beach Resort has been a family favorite for decades. One of the best features it has to offer is the view of West Okoboji lake. This Resort is timeless, basically unchanged by modern times. Fillenwarth takes care of the basic needs and offers additional fun for the whole family. Plenty of food and entertainment options around including the historic Arnold’s Park. I’d recommend this location for anyone.
Everything about this places evokes charm. The price may be a bit higher than other places, but all the amenities you get free (waterskiing, boat tours, sailboat rides, row boats, paddle boats) more than makes up for it!
This is our first year coming here, and we're already talking about coming back next year! Wonderful staff truly make this a welcoming experience we don't want to end!
Spent our week long Summer vacation at Fillenwarth Beach. Wonderful lakeshore property along beautiful West Lake Okoboji Lake. Many nice amenities. Close walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Definitely a sweet spot.
I stayed in the South Beach Studios on the second story which provided a beautiful view of the lake. The resort was very helpful. My refrigerator stopped working during my stay, and the staff promptly replaced it with a different refrigerator. Highly recommended!
