This place definitely has a vintage feel! The shops with clothing and other items are usually priced quite high, but if you catch end of the year deals you can do well! The restaurants are cool with awesome views!
A hodge-podge of stores. The candy store is awesome and is a must stop if you visit the emporium. Other than that, there are a couple restaurants but mostly clothing and reasonably priced. It's fun but nothing compared to the other attractions around Okaboji.
Okoboji staple, cool off from the lake. Kids can grab candy from upstairs, adults can grab a drink on the deck at the gardens, or if you lose your sunglasses like many well you can find some cheap pairs that you wouldn't hurt the bank replacing.

Hi point is fantastic. You really should bring big groups to enjoy having top notch dining and aview with your experience. It really has a wow factor that is great for entertaining guests or for an exellent anniversary/ birthday celebrations. They want to stay open thru winter even, so it's better than the tourist traps that pump out flavorless burgers. Great feature menus on weekends.
